2. 443/469 hp V8 engines – A powerful 4.4L Northstar V8 SC engine with positive displacement intercooled supercharger is fitted on XLR-V and STS-V, delivering 443 hp and 414 lb.-ft. torque on XLR-V and 469 hp and 439 lb.-ft. torque on STS-V.
3. Performance transmissions – A new rear mounted Hydra-Matic 6L80 6-speed automatic transmission with Driver Shift Control (DSC) is mated to the 4.4L Northstar V8 SC on XLR-V and STS-V.
