Responsibilities
· Work with prospects while asking questions, and listening to their answers, about their requirements and interests and building rapport
· Selecting the best vehicle for the prospect
· Properly presenting and demonstrating the vehicle, its features and the benefits to the consumer
· 100% Test Drives
· Understand the vehicles in our inventory and competitive models
· Ability to present prospect’s commitment to the Sales Manager
· Ability to explain our warranties, service department benefits, and the advantage of buying from our dealership.
· Create and maintain a customer base with previous customers, referrals, outside prospects, phone & internet leads.
· Provide management with prospect status reports as needed.
· Create and maintain daily work plan for:
o Track Sales Activities
o Prospecting
o Follow-up
o Deliveries
· Continuously increasing knowledge through daily training and research on automobile industry news.
· Maintain dealership’s reputation for outstanding customer satisfaction.
· Posses, and continue to develop, strong closing skills
· Maintain CSI scores according to dealership standards
· Ensure the customer understands the vehicle’s features, warranty and paperwork at delivery
· Help management with special projects as requested
Requirements
· Minimum 2 years experience in automobile sales
· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in person, via phone and email
· Excellent follow-up skills
· Proven record of exceeding goals
· Great attitude, work ethic and positive outlook
· Bilingual in any language is a plus, but not necessary
· Clean driving record, background check and drug screening
· Valid New Jersey’s Driver’s License
· Professional personal appearance
· Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
